This is our debut album! We were hired for our first festival season, but without an album, so we sat down and compiled our best jams. We chose to record live off the floor to capture the bands intensity, feel, and intuitive improvisations. Every single band member is a student of the jazz language, so it is only natural we capture our sound in this manner.
Tracks labeled "Once Upon a Time," and "Tonight" are examples of Bananafish in its earliest form, while later tracks better represent maturation in the bands writing, arranging, and lyrical content.
